I forgot to take a PrEP tablet. What should I do ?
If you have been taking PreP discontinuously or continuously for less than 7 days and or are more than 2 hours late taking a tablet, you must go to the emergency ward to get a PEP. If you have had unprotected sex on any of the previous days, the other person is considered "a risk".
In the case of continuous daily intake for more than 7 days, an isolated oversight is nothing to be too worried about. If you notice it the same day, take another tablet. Otherwise, just take the next daily dose.
Be careful not to have any other oversites. Our attendants are happy to help you find ways to remember to take your pills. For more details, consult our PrEP guide
